Junior Coach Qualifications
- 14 years or older as of June 1, 2025
- Be ASA eligible to swim for the swim team and a current member of the St Marlo Swim Team
- Preference given to those who have been on the St Marlo swim team previously
- Preference is given to those with prior coaching experience or who is currently a year round club / high school swimmer
- Applicants should ensure they are dedicated and available for all practices, meets, and other swim-related functions during the entire summer swim season before applying
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard training are a strong plus
Position Description:
This position reports directly to the Head Coach and to the Swim Representatives and takes direction from the Assistant Head Coach and the Assistant Coaches. The Junior Coaches will primarily be assisting with the youngest of our swimmers and assisting with swim team practices. Junior Coaches assist with swim practices for age groups 6 & Under through 11-12 yrs. See our practice schedule for practice times.
Availability Requirements:
To provide a consistent experience for our swimmers, availability at practices, meets, and other swim-related functions is required and of high importance in the applicant selection process. The St Marlo Seals season runs from TBD - TDB. Applicants should ensure their dedicated availability during these dates before applying.
Compensation: Commensurate with education level and experience.
