Swim Team Volunteer Positions open for the first meet- June 1st
Hi Swim Families- Our 1st Swim Meet is ONLY a week away- NEXT Thursday, June 1st. It is an AWAY meet at Three Chimney Farms.
We have a few empty JOB slots that I need help filling up.
1 Computer person- second shift
1 Deck Manager - second shift
1 Shepherd - second shift
4 Floaters - 1 for 1st shift and 3 for 2nd shift
Job Descriptions for above:
Computer person (Training required)- works with opposing team's timing and meet management worker to input times
Deck Manager- Once shepherd delivers swimmers, organize swimmers on deck by heat and lane. Notify coaches of missing swimmers.
Shepherd-Gather, organize, and escort swimmers for their events from their respective tents. Deliver them to the Deck Manager at least 10 events prior. Notify the deck manager and a Jr Coach if a swimmer is not at the pool deck at the requested time.
Floater/Stand-by- You will only get credit for the job IF you get assigned a job. Your shift could be in spot we need filled in.
Remember: We REQUIRE that AT LEAST one adult from each swimmer’s family volunteers for AT LEAST 3 volunteer positions during the season.
Please note that if you are unable to keep your volunteer commitment at a swim meet, it is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement and notify the Volunteer Coordinator.
